BRC - Registration failed because of browser problems with Internet Explorer (v8 or 9)

Problem: Registration failed due to a browser related issue in Internet Explorer version 8 or 9.

Cause: There are compatibility issues when using Internet Explorer.

Solution: Try one of the following:

  • Register using Firefox or Chrome instead of Internet Explorer.
  • In Internet Explorer, use Compatibility mode for all sites.
  • In addition, clear out the browser cache for ALL items. (Past failed pages get cached and used, so it is important to completely clear the cache.)
