Uninstall the Synced Tool desktop client - Windows or Mac

Windows machines 

To completely uninstall the Synced Tool desktop client on Windows machines:

1. Open Add/Remove Programs

2. Find your SyncedTool program and remove it

Alternatively, you can use the uninstall tool

  1. Run the tool in c:\Program Files (x86)\[sync desktop client name]\uninstall.exe

Mac machines 

To completely uninstall the Synced Tool desktop client on Mac machines:

For client version 3.5.0 and higher:

1. Close the program.

2. Go to the folder /etc/anchor and run uninstall. Follow the instructions provided.

3. To remove locally stored copies of previously synced files, go to your user folder (Home) and delete the folder called x360Sync or SyncedFolder. 


For older versions:

1. Close the program.

2. In Finder, navigate to Applications and select the desktop client.

3. Right-click the desktop client and select Show Package Contents.

4. Click to expand the Contents folder, then the Resources folder, and then double-click to launch the Uninstall icon. The application will uninstall.

5. To remove locally stored copies of previously synced files, go to your user folder (Home) and delete the folder called x360Sync or SyncedFolder.
