New features

Export of SharePoint site data to ZIP

Earlier we introduced the ability for a user to export Microsoft 365 Mailbox data to a PST (Personal Storage Table) file, allowing faster data access and greater flexibility of recovered data distribution.

In this version, we are introducing an ability to also export backed up Microsoft SharePoint site data to a ZIP file.

To launch data exportation:

STEP 1. Select the SharePoint site whose files you want to export by clicking that Site Name on the organization-level “Accounts  - Sites” page:

STEP 2. Click the Export site data button in the side bar to begin the exportation process.

STEP 3. Optionally, specify "Backup date" to get files and folder structure exported as it was captured at or before the specified point in time, and click the Export button to confirm the operation.

You can check the export status and download exported data on organization’s “Dashboard” page. For this open the “Exports” tab in the “Recent Activity Report” section.

Usage and Protection Insights Report

Some of our partners indicated that it was sometimes challenging to track which user accounts are protected in x360Cloud. Also, they mentioned that an offline the UI to get which of them are billable in x360Cloud.

In this version we are delivering an easy way to generate user-specific reports that show protection status and usage in a structured CSV format. To download the report, navigate to organization Dashboard page and click the “Download accounts report” button.

In the dialog, specify the types of accounts you want to be included in the report and press "Export Report” button.

Download for a CSV file with “<organization ID> <generation date> Usage and Protection Insights Report” name pattern will start.

The resulting report contains the following information about each account item:

  1. Item Type - type of an item: User, SharePoint Site, Team or Google Shared Drive.
  2. Item Name - depending on the item type, it can be: user email address, SharePoint site name, Microsoft Team name or Google shared drive name.
  3. Item ID - item identifier.
  4. Protection Status - status of item protection. Possible values:
    1. “Protected”
    2. “Not Protected”
    3. “N/A” - not eligible for protection, e.g. the user no longer exists or was deactivated in the source system.
  5. Charged - status of whether a fee is being charged for the user account. Possible values: “Yes/No”
  6. Archive mailbox status - protection status of the archive mailbox (applicable to User accounts only). Possible values:
    1. “Protected” - archive mailbox exists and it is protected.
    2. “Not Protected” - archive mailbox exists and it is not protected.
    3. “Inactive” - archive mailbox was not activated or was deleted in Microsoft Exchange.
  7. Data Protected (GB) - amount of data protected for the item in GB.

Point-in-time selection for user mailbox export to PST

Now, when you export User's mailbox to PST, you have an option to pick “Backup Date” and get data exported as it existed and captured at or before the specified point in time.

Fixes

  • Fixed the issue when SharePoint URL disappears when toggling the connector on and off during organization creation.
  • Fixed issue with pagination on Audit Log and Accounts pages.
  • Added a custom icon to differentiate Microsoft 365 Archive Mailbox emails on the Search page.
  • Fix for the issue when integration with ConnectWise PSA was failing due to a large number of redundant Companies that can still exist in PSA. Now redundant Companies in "not-Approved" and "Inactive/Gone" statuses are excluded from synchronization, making the integration more reliable.
  • Fix for the issue when Logout link did not terminate the session.
  • Fix for the issue when "/client" endpoint from Public API was failing for some organizations.
  • Fix for the issue when "Export" tab was shown for a restricted organization.
  • Fix for the duplicate error message for synchronization error.

Known issues

  • When folders are partially selected and restored in x360Cloud Browser, each folder is processed as a separate restoration and is restored to a separate target folder in the target location.
  • Archive emails are restored in a separate (timestamped) target folder when restored with general emails.
