Version

      3.48.0

Date

     Europe — January 22 2024
     North America — January 23 2024

Goals

  • Improve user experience with SharePoint data search and restoration
  • Improve stability of backups and restorations
  • Fix defects in UI\UX and address issues reported by users

New features

New SharePoint browser tools

Now you can browse and restore data in SharePoint as of a specified point in time.

Our new SharePoint folder browser lets you explore a folder tree of a particular SharePoint site (and all of the backed up data.)

You can

  • see the SharePoint folder contents
  • perform searches within the SharePoint folder and
  • restore selected folders (sub-folders or individual files)

 - all on the go!

Search SharePoint by a specific point in time

Besides browsing your latest backed-up SharePoint data, you can also use our new SharePoint browser to specify a point in time and then see the data as it existed at the specified time.

You can also search for a file in a context folder, and then select and restore all of the  matching results.

Note: 3.48.0 is a staggered release, so older SharePoint sites in x360Cloud may not display the new tools until February 2024, when the feature reaches global availability.

Also, please note that the new SharePoint browser will not be available for SharePoint sites unless those site have been recently backed up.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with Microsoft 365 Mail backup failing due to a space (' ') character in the email address of a protected end user
  • Fixed an issue where some end users did not show up on the “Users” list when the list was sorted by "protection status" or the "billable" column
  • Fixed an issue when the time of daily Summary Digest email report was slightly slipping over a course of time. (This happened when email was not received at exactly the same time each day)

Known issues

  • When folders are partially selected and restored in x360Cloud Browser, each folder is processed as a separate restoration and is restored to a separate target folder in the target location.
  • Smart Search shows incorrect numbers of matching results for mail when using “Filter by collection”.
  • Descriptions for some issues and backup progress are not shown in the container-level downloadable backup report and on the Reports page.
  • Archive emails are restored in a separate (time stamped) target folder when restored with general emails.
