|Synced Tool for iOS
Dark Mode support
With iOS 13, Apple introduced Dark Mode. Finally, iOS users can join the dark side.
"In Dark Mode, the system uses a darker color palette for all screens, views, menus, and controls, and it uses more vibrancy to make foreground content stand out against the darker backgrounds."
Because Dark Mode makes the background darker than the classic light colors, we adjusted Axcient x360Sync Synced Tool for iOS. We reviewed the way color changes are handled and adjusted the color palette to support the switch between the light and dark options.
During the review process, we made the mechanisms handling color changes more flexible.
We also introduced lighter font colors, to make the labels and texts more visible on a dark background.
Improved third party integration
We've improved the integration with the operating system, allowing better handling of the "Copy to" action.
Previously, when a user selected a file to share from a third party application (such as Microsoft 365 Outlook) and then used the "Copy to Synced Tool" with a destination folder containing a file with the same name, the copy operation was unsuccessful.
In version 4.9, the Synced Tool creates a new version of the file with no issues.
